Nominations: Monday, May 8, 2023 at 8am

Many of our UC College of Medicine faculty serve our research mission by and not limited to volunteering for internal review panels, data and safety monitoring boards, IRB, IACUC, and biosafety and radiation safety committees. They often serve for many years with little recognition for the time and expertise they commit to improving the quality and rigor of our research.

To recognize this service to our research mission, the CoM Office of Research is soliciting nominations for a UC College of Medicine Faculty Research Service/Citizenship Award. The award will be presented to the College of Medicine full-time faculty member, nominated by their department chair, who in the opinion of the research leadership has provided exceptional service to the College of Medicine. 

Nomination Deadline:  

The cover page, nomination letter, and CV should be submitted as one PDF document via redcap: https://redcap.research.cchmc.org/surveys/?s=JEXLCXY8JMLF9X3R. Faculty at the VA and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center are not eligible to apply.

Recognition: 

The award recipient will receive an honorarium of $1,000 and college-wide recognition. Recipients of College of Medicine Office of Research awards are expected to assist the Office when requested (i.e. providing grant reviews, attending College of Medicine events, etc.) Previous Faculty Research Service/Citizenship Award awardees are not eligible to apply.
