Graduate Certificate in Clinical & Translational Research

Program Summary

The Certificate is a 10 credit hour program designed to provide an introduction to clinical and translational research. Most classes can be completed in one 6-week summer session or in one academic year.

Qualified applicants include:

  • Fellows and junior faculty interested in collaborating in research, or fellows/junior faculty just launching their career as clinical/translational researchers
  • Health science students in the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences
  • Basic science researchers crossing over into clinical translation
  • Residents
  • Post-doctoral fellows
  • Health science professionals

Additional Program Information

Online Summer Session Information

Trainees may begin the MSCTR-PI, MSCTR-CRP, or Graduate Certificate programs in the Summer or the Fall. Most trainees begin the program by enrolling in the Summer Session, which runs from from June through the first week of August. All courses are offered online.
