Why Anesthesia?

I am drawn to anesthesiology because it gives me the chance to support patients during some of their most vulnerable moments. I value the trust patients place in their anesthesiologists, and I want to learn how to combine compassionate patient care with the technical skills involved in keeping them safe. I also love the fast-paced and collaborative environment that our field offers!

Why UC?

I chose the University of Cincinnati because, in addition to the excellent clinical training, I was also impressed by the close-knit and supportive environment fostered by the residents here. During my visiting rotation, the attendings stood out for their dedication to teaching and the way they consistently went above and beyond to help residents grow into confident, skilled physicians. I am grateful to be part of a program where I will be challenged, supported, and encouraged as I grow into my role as an anesthesiologist.
